The big pop punk meeting of 2022 is therefore taking place. To update you last week, my college friends and I snagged tickets to see Midtown in New Jersey in December before they sold out for a reasonable price.
(I also managed to get a ticket to My Chemical Romance with Midtown and it’s by far the most money I’ve ever spent on a single show. Somewhere there’s a lesson in don’t put your longtime friend who is now successful in Hollywood buying the tickets, but I’m just leaning on it because we haven’t had a show in so long. Call it YOLO, emo style.)
But as we begin to plan for the big New Jersey adventure, hopefully we’ll make it an annual thing.
