The long-running Newport Beach Jazz Festival will return in 2022 and take over the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach from June 3-5.
Marion Meadows and Alex Bugnon will kick things off on June 3 with an intimate 1,000-capacity VIP concert at Hyatt’s Back Bay Amphitheater.
The festivities officially begin with CeeLo Green paying tribute to James Brown on June 4 with sets from Eric Benét, Peter White, Vincent Ingala, Morgan James, Kim Scott, Four80East and DJ Shell.
Jazz keyboardist Brian Culbertson will headline June 5 with previous tours by Brian McKnight, Marcus Miller, DW3, Lindsey Webster & Adam Hawley, Phil Denny and Derek Bordeaux.
The main festival will be held on the Back Bay Golf Course and will feature two stages, an international food court, a vendor village and several VIP options.
Day passes for June 4 or 5 are $125 for general admission and $225 for VIP; Two-day general admission passes are $200; Three-day VIP passes for the weekend, including performances on June 3, cost $425. All passes are available at hyattconcerts.com.
