Since the passage of the near-total abortion ban in Texas on September 1, reproductive health advocates have rallied to financially support the Texas-based abortion fund.

Singer-songwriter Lucy Dacus quickly decided that her four shows in Texas, including a stop at Paper Tiger in San Antonio on Monday, September 20, would donate all profits to local reproductive health organizations.

“All the money I make from our upcoming shows in Texas will go to the jsyk abortion fund, if you don’t agree with that, don’t come,” the artist writes.

Resound, the central Texas reservation agency, announced the details this week.

Ticket sales for the Paper Tiger show will go to Buckle Bunnies, a local reproductive health fund. Paper Tiger will also participate, donating 20% of all bar sales and selling a limited edition t-shirt during the show. All t-shirt funds will also be included in the donation pool.

Dacus is not the only one to support her. Other independent artists, such as Maggie Rogers and Texas-born St. Vincent, have spoken out against Senate Bill 8.

While the Austin and Dallas shows are already sold out, tickets for the Houston and San Antonio shows are still available, starting at $ 20.

Lucy Dacus performs live during the Primavera Sound Festival at Parc del Forum on May 31, 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.
